Lodging Options for Large Groups in Boonville

Planning a reunion or big group trip to Boonville? Here is how we fit large groups across our cabins and trailside lodges, and how to combine stays.

Lodging Options for Large Groups in Boonville

If you are bringing a big group to Boonville, the biggest question is simple: where does everyone sleep without tripping over each other? We host seven stays in and around Boonville, and a few of them are built to put a large group under one roof or on one property. Here is how they break down so you can match the right space to your crew.

Which stay fits the biggest group?

Cabin in the Pines is our largest single stay. It sleeps 14, with four bedrooms plus a basement bunkroom that has eight twin beds. That setup works well for a family reunion where the adults want their own rooms and the kids pile into the bunkroom.

It has two baths, an outdoor hot tub, a wood-burning fireplace, and a mudroom for ATV and snow gear. The mudroom matters more than people expect when you have a group coming in and out with boots and jackets. Everything lands in one spot instead of all over the floor.

Cabin in the Pines sits in the Adirondack foothills, with the S77D snowmobile trail running directly behind it. Once you arrive, there is no trailering to get to the trail.

Can we combine stays for one big group?

Yes, and that is where the options open up. If 14 beds is not quite enough, The Full Retreat combines Cabin in the Pines with Loft in the Pines. Loft in the Pines sleeps four, with a queen bedroom plus a sofa bed and one bath, in an open loft above the two-stall garage, reached by stairs.

That overflow space is handy for grandparents who want a little quiet, or a couple that is coming in separately from the main group. Both stays sit on the same property with direct access to that same S77D trail, and ATV trail access is minutes away from both.

Over on the Tug Hill Plateau, Cozy Trailside Lodge 1 and 2 are in the same building. You can book them individually, or book Cozy Trailside Lodge 1 & 2 together when you want the whole building for your group. Snowmobile and ATV trails C7B and C4A are right out front, and there is a heated garage below the unit.

What makes Boonville good for a group trip?

Boonville is a trail town. If your group is coming for snowmobiling or ATV riding, the location of where you sleep decides how much of your weekend you spend hauling machines around. Our stays are set up so the trail is right there, not a drive away.

Winters up here are real winters. The Tug Hill Plateau is one of the snowiest spots in the region, which is exactly why the sledding crowd keeps coming back. That heated garage below the Cozy Trailside Lodge units is there for a reason when it is deep outside.

For a summer reunion, the draw shifts. Riverside Lane Retreat sits directly on the snowmobile trails, overlooking the river, with a private hot tub. That is a different kind of group weekend, slower, with water and a soak at the end of the day.

How do we handle check-in and the booking?

Cabin in the Pines and Loft in the Pines have self check-in by smartlock, so your group is not waiting on anyone to let you in. You get your code and you are in, which helps when people are arriving at different hours.

The stays are hosted by Lissa, a local Superhost, with co-host Rick. When you are planning for a group, it helps to talk through the details first, how many people, which weekend, whether you want to combine stays, and what the trail conditions tend to be like that time of year.

For Boonville group lodging, the right answer depends on your headcount and whether you want everyone in one building or spread across a property. We would rather sort that out with you than have you guess.

A few things we will not guess at

We do not post pricing here, and availability lives on Airbnb where it stays current. So if you want to know whether your dates are open or what a group booking comes to, that is a question to ask us directly rather than something we will estimate here.

Pets are considered on a case by case basis, with a fee, on the stays where that applies. It is not a blanket yes, so tell us up front if you are bringing one and we will let you know.

Beyond that, the capacity and features above are what each stay actually offers. If a detail is not listed, ask, and we will give you a straight answer instead of a guess.
