Where are the cabins, exactly?

Our stays are spread across two areas. Cabin in the Pines and Loft in the Pines are in the Adirondack foothills. Cozy Trailside Lodge 1 and 2 are up on the Tug Hill Plateau.

Riverside Lane Retreat sits directly on the snowmobile trails, overlooking the river, with a private hot tub. If sitting out back watching the water sounds like your kind of weekend, that one's worth a look.

We don't publish street addresses for any of the stays. You'll get what you need to find the place once you've booked.

Which cabin fits my group?

This is the first thing to sort out, because the stays are built for different sizes of trip.

Cabin in the Pines sleeps 14. It has four bedrooms plus a basement bunkroom with eight twin beds, two baths, an outdoor hot tub, a wood-burning fireplace, and a mudroom for ATV and snow gear. That mudroom matters more than people expect when you've got a crew tracking in snow and mud.

Loft in the Pines is the smaller option. It sleeps four, with a queen bedroom plus a sofa bed and one bath. It's an open loft above the two-stall garage, reached by stairs, so keep that in mind if stairs are an issue for anyone in your group.

If you want both together, The Full Retreat combines Cabin and Loft in the Pines. That's the setup when one big group needs a little more spread-out space.

What about trail access?

This is why a lot of folks book these adirondack foothills cabin rentals in the first place. You can ride from the door.

The S77D snowmobile trail runs directly behind Cabin in the Pines, so there's no trailering once you arrive. Loft in the Pines has direct access to the same trail. ATV trail access is minutes away from both.

Up on Tug Hill, Cozy Trailside Lodge 1 and 2 sit in the same building, with snowmobile and ATV trails C7B and C4A right out front. There's a heated garage below the unit, which is a real comfort when you're wrenching on a sled in January and don't want to do it in the cold.

Tug Hill gets a lot of snow. That's the draw for riders, and it's why having trails out front and a heated garage below changes the whole feel of a winter trip.

How does checking in work?

Cabin in the Pines and Loft in the Pines have self check-in by smartlock. You don't have to coordinate a meet-up or wait around for a key. You show up, you let yourself in, you get your weekend started.

Our stays are hosted by Lissa, a local Superhost, with co-host Rick. Local hosting means if a question comes up about the area, the trails, or where to grab a bite in Boonville, you're asking someone who actually knows the answer.

Can I bring my dog?

Pets are considered on our stays, with a fee. That's not a blanket yes, so it depends on the specific stay and the specific trip. Ask before you book so there's no surprise either way.
